Bean turns one

The bean turned one, and we gave out some gifts at his birthday party. One of the gifts was a copy of the Sesame street CD that we made for the kids. This is the work I did on the CD cover art. I used the free gimp image tool to do this.

I used layers and a lot cutting and copying (with the copy tool.)

I then just added his bday text... Then Crystal and I thought well, its the beans bday, why not put him on there.

I looked through some recent pictures and decided on this one. It shows his upper body and facing forward

I slid bert and ernie over.

This looked pretty good, but the B in bert is sliding off the CD, so I slid stuff to the right....

This looks good, but at the bottom of Ernie and on Berts striped shirt, you can see the background... Ooops

The cd cover was such a hit, that I had to do a version for a picture frame, 5x7. I added Liam's hand back in and streaked out the back ground and Ta - Da.!!!

The CD cover was a big hit. As was the entire party.
